We are very grateful for your support
some of our guests have expressed interest in supporting our rescue activities by providing donations, monthly supplies and other support. Some even come and grab a pitchfork for a day and really help "pitch-in". Everything helps! Thank you

Baby Turnip |
Gloria & Bella |
Baby Burt was taken away from his mother on the day of his birth and sent to livestock auction. When I rescued him the umbilical cord was still attached. He was sick, dehydrated and confused. We cleaned him up, got fresh goat milk into him and he slept for nearly 24 hours. He became a favorite of the household and lived in a dog kennel in the laundry room for the first 3-months of his life.

Baby Turnip's mother had a placental rupture during birth and almost died herself. Turnip wasn't able to stand, suckle and would have died without the intervention of 2 young girls who were determined to save him. They taught him how to suckle & bottle fed him. Finally when he was strong enough to stand they made sure that he was safe. He became our ranch mascot and we love him.

Gloria and Bella came from a ranch that was downsizing. They didn't have room for these 2 old ladies and they fit right in here. They needed a bit of TLC and extra nutrition after competing for food with a herd. We fattened them up with lots of yummy treats and even gave them lunch. Now their coats are shiny and their bellies are chubby. We love their antics and sassiness.

Pitch in - We can use the help!
Some of our supporters come and pitch in around the place for a weekend or even longer. We can use the help on various projects. The animals are also grateful for the pets, care and attention. Come and join us.
Special needs can require special supplies
If you want to help we would be very grateful for a donation or you can send us some supplies from our Amazon wish list. Consider sponsoring an animal care for a birthday gift for a loved one. Some people even choose to come and grab a pitch fork and help out for the day.
